Ben Weissenbach’s book, North to the Future (2025), details his various expeditions and adventures in the Alaskan Wilds. The book blends a feeling of classic adventure with reflections on modern technology.

I wanted to echo this theme when I illustrated this map for his book. As a nod to the classics, I hand-painted the topography with washes of watercolor. From there, I brought in digital typography and line work to create a map that balanced old and new techniques.
